Programs & Classes

CHILDREN’S NON-CONTACT BOXING | JUNIOR PROGRAM 6–16 years

Coach Johnny Kalbhenn

The Children’s Non-Contact Boxing program is all about building confidence, making new friends and having fun while learning the basics of boxing. Led by a certified and experienced coach, participants will have a warm up of skipping and shadow boxing. Students will then spend time doing one on one pad work with the coach and use the heavy bags to build skills.

Competitive Boxing Junior (8-16 years)

The Competitive Boxing Junior program is open to all those aged 8 to 16 years, registered with Boxing Ontario, who want to challenge themselves with the goal of competing under the Canadian Amateur Boxing guidelines. This program will focus on developing the technical skills, self-discipline and confidence of athletes who are able to compete in Club shows, Provincial and National tournaments. Athletes will participate in a general warm, shadow boxing heavy bag and one on one pad work. Led by certified and experienced coaches, athletes can expect rewarding and balanced training including supervised sparring to achieve their goals.

Competitive Boxing Youth (17-18 years)

The Competitive Coxing Youth program is open to all those aged 17 to 18 years, registered with Boxing Ontario, who want to challenge themselves with the goal of competing under the Canadian Amateur Boxing guidelines. This program will focus on developing technical skills, self-discipline and confidence of athletes who are able to compete in Club shows, Provincial and National tournaments. Athletes will participate in a general warm, shadow boxing heavy bag and one on one pad work. Led by certified and experienced coaches, athletes can expect rewarding and balanced training including supervised sparring to achieve their goals.

The Competitive Boxing Elite program is open to all those 19 years or older, registered with Boxing Ontario, who want to challenge themselves with the goal of competing under the Canadian Amateur Boxing guidelines. This program will focus on developing technical skills, self-discipline and confidence of athletes who are able to compete in Club shows, Provincial and National tournaments. Athletes will participate in a general warm, shadow boxing heavy bag and one on one pad work. Led by certified and experienced coaches, athletes can expect rewarding and balanced training including supervised sparring to achieve their goals.

Co-Ed Recreational Boxing

The Co-Ed Recreational Boxing class is open to beginners, intermediate and advanced boxers. Classes are designed to give the participant a classic boxing work out routine including skipping, calisthenics, bag work and one on one pad work with a certified and experienced coach. The goal of this class is to be inclusive and offer participants great conditioning and the opportunity to learn the basics of the sport as well as improve their skills.

Female Recreational Boxing

Hey Ladies! Get the day started on the right foot – or should we say, punch! Warm up with some skipping and shadow boxing, then take it to the next level with some heavy bag work and punching on the focus mitts. Finish everything off with some circuit work, ab exercises and a short cool down. Don’t worry if you’re a rookie, we’ll get you started with the basics so that you get the most out of your workout. Always fun, and always worth it.

Conditioning Class

Strength, stamina, agility, flexibility.

Focus on some key components that will further your boxing skill, as well as your everyday fitness in our conditioning sessions. Open to both competitive and recreational members, we will focus on a circuit style workout with boxing skills as the main focus. Perfect for all levels, as all movements can be modified when required.

Tech Boxing and Conditioning

Coach Marcus Ward

The Tech Boxing and Conditioning class is open to everyone and focuses on the techniques of boxing and boxing styles with an emphasis on footwork, balance, punching drills and strategy. The workout consists of a general warm up, partner work, use of heavy bags and skills development along with cardio. This is a great class for enhancing training by incorporating goal-driven skills learning in a team environment guided by a certified, experienced coach.

Lunch Box

Coach Kelly Booth

The Lunch Box class is open to anyone who wants to squeeze in a challenging mid-day workout which will include cardio, circuits, heavy bag work and pad work with a certified coach. This is a great class to learn basic boxing skills and improve your fitness.

Open Gym

Open Gym is for anyone who wants to workout independently. Use of the heavy bags and weight room is included. Coaching and classes are available for an additional fee.

Run Club

Running is a key component of a boxer’s training. It can also be a lot of fun.

Run Club is open to competitive and recreational members. We will focus on running workouts that will help improve your boxing endurance, speed and general fitness.

Anyone afraid of being too slow need not worry, no runners left behind.

Advanced tech box 

Coach Rey Morales

This signature class puts boxing technique at the forefront and is designed to refine and improve your boxing skills. Great for all levels of experience, you continue to build endurance, power, speed, and flexibility while improving your technical boxing skills like footwork, pinpoint punching accuracy, lightning-fast reflexes and hand speed. In essence, the advanced tech box class emphasizes the main objective of boxing: to hit and not get hit.
